Professor Ellen MacEachen will participate in a panel at University of Waterloo’s Virtual International Women’s Day event on March 8, 2022. Dr. MacEachen will be speaking about the design and performance of work and health systems and how these can be improved and adapted to our fast changing economic, social and technological environments.

This evidence-based resource is grounded in our recent research study of RTW coordinators’ experiences. Congratulations to Work & Qualitative Health Research Lab MSc student, Pamela Hopwood for being a finalist in the University of Waterloo’s GRADflix event, in which graduate students present one-minute videos of their theses (see Pam’s video here). Pam was well cheered on by her lab-mates and she drew the first audience question about her work. It was a great event!

On November 15, Meghan Crouch, PhD Candidate, presented research from our Return to Work Coordinator Study at a graduate student seminar in the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. She described challenging areas in qualitative data analysis and shared RTW discourses about mental health and workers.
